Apple products are in vogue for a long time due its unique operating system, extensive music library, durability of hardware and hi-tech software. Apple iTunes is the media player, in-built in all Apple products including iPad, iPhones, mac books and iPods. This media player stores, organize, play and download digital music library of the user and is connected to iTunes store to download instantly or buy any music, game, app, e-book or any other product. This is done via iTunes/apple id. However there are many cases, when people forgot their passwords and many apple users have even reporting that they are unable to login, even with the correct password.
If you are having the same trouble, iTunes password reset is the only solution you have.
- Go to iTunes site and on the top right corner, click the “sign in” tab.
- Once the sign in window appears, click “forgot password” tab, which will direct you to main Apple site or you can directly click on this link https://iforgot.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/DSiForgot.woa/wa/iforgot
- Now type in your Apple id/ iTunes id, which in almost all of the cases is your email address, that you have linked to Apple.
- After typing in your user name or iTunes id, hit “next”.
- This will direct you to another window that will give you two options to recover your password. First is the security question and second is the email address.
- If you chose to reset password via email, you will receive an email in your inbox to confirm you are the actual account holder. By clicking on the link in the email that says “Reset your Apple ID” you will be directed to a new window, where you can add new password, confirm new password and after clicking “Reset Password”, your new password will be effective.
- If you chose to reset password via security question, you will be asked your security question that you set at the time of making id. After answering the question, you will be directed to a new window, where new password can be entered and after hitting “reset password”, you will be able to access your itunes to download unlimited games, music, books and apps.
